How do I change the currency of my personal portfolio or investment firm?

You can set a specific currency for each portfolio in Ledgy. All performance numbers and KPIs will automatically be converted to this currency using the daily exchange rate.

Changing currency in your personal portfolio

To change the currency in your personal portfolio:

  1. Click on your name in the top-right corner of the screen

  2. Select Settings from the dropdown menu

  3. In the Profile section, locate the currency field

  4. Update the currency to your preferred option

  5. Save your changes

You can also access these settings directly by going to your personal account settings page.


Changing currency in your investment firm

To change the currency in your investment firm:

  1. Navigate to Home > Investment Firms

  2. Find your investment firm and click to open it

  3. Look for Firm settings in the sidebar

  4. Select General from the sidebar options

  5. Under Investment Firm Settings, locate the currency field

  6. Update the currency to your preferred option

  7. Click the Save button to apply your changes


Currency conversion rates

When you change your portfolio currency, Ledgy will automatically handle currency conversions for you:

  • All amounts are converted from the original company currencies to your selected portfolio currency

  • Conversion uses the current day's exchange rate

  • Exchange rates are updated once daily

  • All performance metrics and KPIs will display in your chosen currency

If you don't see your currency updates reflected immediately, please refresh the page or wait up to 24 hours for the exchange rate data to update.
