Introduction

Transaction audit trails provide a comprehensive record of all changes made throughout a transaction's lifecycle. Each audit trail shows what was modified, who made the change, when it occurred, and the before-and-after values of updated fields. This feature is essential for maintaining data integrity, tracking compliance requirements, investigating discrepancies, and understanding how transactions have evolved over time. This guide explains how to access and review the audit trail for any transaction in your Ledgy account.

Viewing the Transaction Audit Trail

  1. On the Transactions page, click on the transaction to expand it.

  2. Click the three-dot icon next to the transaction you wish to view the audit trail for.

  3. Click View audit trail from the menu.

  4. On the pop-up, expand the relevant event to view a detailed audit trail, including the values of updated fields before and after the modification.

  5. Click Close to finish.
