Managing your personal details, security settings and notification preferences in Ledgy is simple and straightforward. Whether you need to update your profile information, change your password, enable two-factor authentication, adjust email notifications, or even delete your account, this guide will walk you through each step. How do I edit my personal details?
To edit the profile information on your Ledgy account, you can click your profile name on the bottom left corner of any page within Ledgy, and select Settings in the menu that opens.

On the Settings page that opens, you will see the Personal details section.
By clicking on the Edit icon in the top right corner, you can edit your information by filling in the fields (Name, Address and Currency*) in the pop-up window that opens. When clicking Save, Ledgy will then ask for your password to confirm.
*We pull the exchange rates from Open Exchange Rates API, and it will be updated once a day.
How do I update my password and enable two-factor authentication?
In the Login settings section under Personal Details, you can edit your email, reset your password or enable two-factor authentication as the authentication type.
To edit your email, click the Edit icon in the top right corner then enter the new email address on the edit modal and hit Save.
To update your password, click on Reset password. This will open a modal where you can enter your current password and then your new password. After entering the required information, submit the changes to complete the process.
How do I change the email notification preferences?
You can enable or disable our email notifications in your personal account settings. In the Notification Preferences, enable or disable the Email notification toggle.
How can I delete my personal Ledgy account?
Please go to your account settings if you want to delete your personal Ledgy account. Then you can permanently delete your account in the Danger Zone section.
FAQ
I can't edit my profile! "Log in with Google" and setting up a password.
If you use "Log in with Google" to enter your Ledgy account, and you want to make changes to our user profile, you will find a "set password" button instead of an "edit" button. You have to set a password first before you find the edit button.
My personal account has a different currency than the company account, where do you get the exchange rate, and how often will it be updated?
We retrieve the exchange rate from Open Exchange Rates Ltd. and we update the rates once a day.
