Introduction
Deleting your Ledgy account is a straightforward process, but you need to meet certain requirements first. Follow these steps to completely remove your account from our platform.
Prerequisites before deleting your account
Before you can delete your Ledgy account, you must ensure you are not the owner or administrator of any company. If you are, you will need to:
Transfer ownership to another user on the Stakeholder page if you are the sole owner
Delete the company entirely from the Company Settings page if transferring ownership is not an option
How to delete your account
Click on your name in the bottom-left corner of the screen to access the account menu
Select Settings from the dropdown menu
Find the Danger Zone section
If you meet all prerequisites (not being an owner or admin of any company), the Delete Account button will be visible
Click the Delete Account button
Confirm your decision in the verification prompt that appears
What happens after deleting your account
When you delete your Ledgy account:
All your personal information will be removed from our system
You will no longer have access to any companies you were a part of
Your email address will be available for use with a new account if you decide to rejoin later
If you don't see the Delete Account button in the Danger Zone section, please check that you have completed all the prerequisites listed above.
