Introduction

The Stakeholder Dashboard Settings page gives you control over what your stakeholders can see and how information appears on their dashboard. You can customise visibility options, configure the holdings grid layout, set up valuation scenarios, and personalise email templates.

This article explains how to access and use each section of the Stakeholder Dashboard Settings to create the best experience for your stakeholders.

How to access Stakeholder dashboard settings

To access the Stakeholder Dashboard Settings page, navigate to Company Settings > Stakeholder dashboard as shown in the image below:

Dashboard Settings

In the Dashboard Settings section, you can control what information stakeholders see on their dashboard. This section lets you toggle various visibility options to customise the stakeholder experience.

In here, you can:

  • Show "Vesting breakdown" chart - Show or hide the vesting breakdown visualisation for stakeholders

  • Show "Message" button - Control whether stakeholders can send messages directly to your company admins

  • Assume outstanding vesting triggers were met - Enabling will let stakeholders see vested grant amount / value as if outstanding triggers were met.

  • Show company valuations to stakeholders - Enabling will hide valuation transactions in the portfolio history of stakeholders and employees.

  • Show "Latest valuation price" value - This option only appears if valuations are visible to stakeholders

  • Hide total number of shares from stakeholders - Enabling will hide post-money valuation and percentage of company from stakeholders.

Stakeholder Scenarios

The Stakeholder Scenarios section lets you configure custom valuation scenarios for your stakeholders to explore. These scenarios appear as the "Equity value growth chart" on the stakeholder dashboard, allowing stakeholders to see potential future values of their equity.

For detailed step-by-step instructions on setting up Stakeholder Scenarios, please see our article here.

Holdings grid layout

The Holdings grid layout section gives you full control over how stakeholders view their holdings information. You can customise columns, apply filters, adjust grouping, and preview changes before applying them to all stakeholders.

How to customise the holdings grid

To customise the holdings grid layout:

  1. Navigate to the Holdings grid layout tile of the Stakeholder Dashboard

  2. Select a stakeholder from the dropdown list in the modal to preview how changes will appear and then click the Customise layout button

  3. A new tab will appear showing you the Holdings grid where you can add or remove columns based on what information you want stakeholders to see. You can add or remove columns and also filter data to further organise the information.

  4. When you're satisfied with the layout, click Set default view to apply these changes to all stakeholders.

Invitation email template

You can:

  • Customise the invitation email template - Edit the message and formatting of the invitation email to match your company's tone and branding

  • Send yourself a test email - Preview how the invitation email will appear to stakeholders before sending it to them

This helps ensure your stakeholder invitations are professional and aligned with your company's communication style
