In Ledgy you can convert the share class of a stakeholder to another share class.

Intro

If a new share class has been created and you want to update the share class of a shareholder, you will learn how to do that in this article. So this article is about how to convert the share class of a stakeholder.


How do you convert the stakeholder's share class?

  1. Go to Ownership > Transactions > Add Transaction > Other transactions > Class conversion.

  2. In the modal, you define when and how many shares from which stakeholder you want to convert to which share class. Furthermore, you can optionally attach documents and an internal note.

  3. By clicking on the Save button, it will create a Share Conversion transaction.

How can I convert the stakeholder's share class in bulk?

  1. Go to Ownership > Transactions

  2. At the top, click the Import button > Select the "Class Conversion" template.

  3. This allows you to download an Excel template that you can populate, save, and drop into the data upload box below. Click Download template.

  4. Start the import process by clicking on the Import now button.
