In Ledgy, you can create stakeholders in various ways depending on the number of stakeholders you wish to import and your location within the platform. Note that the stakeholder name and identifier should be unique.
Adding one stakeholder on the Stakeholders page
On the Stakeholders page, click on the Add stakeholder button
Provide the name of the stakeholder and the fields you would like to include
Click Save
Adding one or multiple stakeholders using Bulk import on the Stakeholders page
On the Stakeholders page, click on the Bulk button
Prepare the data from your current spreadsheets:
โNote: First and last names should be indicated within the same cell.Copy the data into the grid
Click Save
Adding one or multiple stakeholders using Excel import
On the Stakeholders page, click on the Import button in the upper right corner
Within the modal, select a template for either Natural person or Legal entity
Note: Legal entity is a company, whereas a natural person is anyone representing their own person, such as your employees, founders, and similar.
Click Template to download the requested template
Prepare the data from your current spreadsheets:
Note: First and last names should be indicated in the same cell. For any custom fields, such as Subsidiary status of the stakeholders, simply add a new column of data with your header, i.e. "Subsidiary" in the spreadsheet before importing
Delete the example row, and copy your data into the Excel template
Save the Excel template
Either drag and drop the Excel file into the box within the modal or click on the Excel icon and select the file
Click Import now
Note: If the input should be changed, the row with invalid input will be indicated within the window. Please go back to the original document, adjust it and try again from step 6.
