Introduction

If you'd like to move your shares to a personal brokerage account, Ledgy supports transfer-out requests. The process involves completing a short form and sending it to our support team β€” we'll handle the rest. Please note that processing times can vary depending on your broker, so we recommend submitting your request as early as possible.

Ledgy allows you to transfer your shares out to a brokerage account of your choice. Follow the steps below to request your transfer:

  1. Write an email with subject line: [Portfolio Company Name] Transfer Out Request [Employee name]

    1. Replace [Portfolio Company Name] with the company name of the shares you want to transfer

    2. Replace [Employee name] with your name

  2. In the body of the email, include the following information:

    1. Portfolio company name

    2. Your name:

    3. Number of shares to transfer:

    4. Market ID:

    5. Broker name:

    6. Broker contact name:

    7. Broker contact number:

    8. Broker contact email:

Note: Ensure this information is complete to avoid our team asking for more information.

  3. Send the completed email to [email protected]

Please be aware that transfer out submissions can take 1 month+ depending on the responsiveness of your broker.
