Introduction

If you'd like to move your shares to a personal brokerage account, Ledgy supports transfer-out requests. The process involves completing a short form and sending it to our support team β€” we'll handle the rest. Please note that processing times can vary depending on your broker, so we recommend submitting your request as early as possible.

Ledgy allows you to transfer your shares out to a brokerage account of your choice. Follow the steps below to request your transfer:

  1. Write an email with subject line: Transfer Out Request | [Your Name] | [Company Name]

    1. Replace [Portfolio Company Name] with the company name of the shares you want to transfer

    2. Replace [Your Name] with your name

  2. In the body of the email, include the following information:

    1. Your Name:

    2. Company Name:

    3. ISIN:

    4. Number of shares:

    5. Name/Market ID of broker or custodian:

    6. Name of contact at broker/custodian:

    7. Email of contact: Phone number of contact (optional):

Note: Ensure this information is complete to avoid our team asking for more information.

  3. Send the completed email to [email protected].

Please be aware, transfers can take weeks depending on the responsiveness of your broker/custodian. We recommend informing them in advance that you are wishing to transfer shares from an external broker (Winterflood Securities).
